so let me write somethings tat can stay here for at least 2 weeks ba..


pardon me for being lagging behind..haha.
i wan to wish all teachers who have taught me throughout my years studying here..
they have taught me alot of things i should say..
not just facts, syllabus from textbooks..
but the way to live, the values one should have..
throughout my edcation.. i have also realised something..

history is not just abt memoising stories for SEQ, memorising skills to be applied in SBQ..
but to
INFER from sources for its meaning..
CRoss reference with other sources to check RELIABILITY of the source before u BELIEVE! it..
detect MOTIves..as they cant be found explicitly..
n no wonder 'detect motives' is the highest level in SBQ qn 1. LOL.

biology arh..
i think its not just abt the topic..
i think its the teacher too..haha..
i just think its so fortunate to get mr njoo la..haha..
n not every teacher can be like him..
because his principles are..
'' I do not teach, I educates''.
quite powerful ya?..haha..

abt the topic, i think studying biology gives u more knowledge how ur body works..
but i think it would be useless if u noe the knowledge, n dun apply it..
bio not only ask u to memorise facts, label diagrams..
but
the Ability to LINK everything up together..
to APPLY knowledge instead of jus memorising them..

abt the teacher..hehe..
he is jus superb i think..
he guides u to the correct path one should go in his/her life journey.
he makes jokes, esp tat kind of jokes,LOL, but they contain meanings..
he dun usually teach, but Motivates us to learn independently..
n he wants us to LEARN from MIstakes..
In the end he stil can get 1/2 a class of distinctions..
wa..this kind of teacher is rare..lol..u ROck la mr Njoo..=)

maths arh..
think got to thank Mrs Tay lo!..hehe..
err..wat i learn from her..
Use the smallest effort to achieve the biggest gain..hehe..
i.e. using short cuts in maths..
there are more Answers to a Question..
i.e. PROBLEMS can be solved in many ways..not just 1..
UNDERstand qn, rather than memorising steps..
i.e. able to adapt, to change

ohya!..bio again:)..
this i have to thank Ms Nora i think..
cos of her strong emphasis on TErminology.=)..
in bio, u use specific terms, in order to get specific, and not give markers any chance to ask 'why' again..
in life.. you use correct, specific terms to get ur meaning across to the other party, so that party
wont get MISunderstood..not in VAGUe, AbstRACT terms which wont get u anywhere..



once a wise guy told me..( you noe who u r.lol. so good i name u 'wise guy' rite..lol)

-doing wrong thing at wrong time=VERY wrong.
-doing right thing at wrong time= wrong
-doing wrong thing at right time=wrong
-doing right thing at right time=RIGHT!...

so from here..the probability of doing the right thing is 25%,
which means to get things wrong is easier..
so, how do u noe the thing u r doing is correct or wrong?..
tat means 'time' and 'thing' have to be considered..lol..

u will either get TIRED of it..
OR
u will get ADDICTED to it..

-watching the same movie again n again?..

wat kind of things u get ADDICTED arh..
-playing computer games?..
-card games?.'i was once'..

-taking drugs?..of cos i think..lol..


err..so wat im trying to say here..
do things SPARINGLY..so u wont walk either way..haha..

hmm..
i also believe im very fortunate to come from a mixed school..
where i can learn more and correctly during puberty..
cos wat i think is tat different school produce different students..
but tat doesnt apply to everyone..ya.=)..

talking abt education again...
i jus think tat Sexuality education is indeed a very very impt subject..
or maybe the most impt subject in sch Today..
now its starting even in pri. sch...
i think it will be a very good measure..
to EDUCATE young students to MATure ADUlts..
to see the wider picture of life..
instead of just the present..
n to cultivate naive, gullible children to mature,independent adults.
