there are actually more things to see n play at Ocean park! i did not include the scary thrilling rides cos i did not take pictures while im on it.haha. Seriously, the opening hrs are too short..n there are really too many ppl. again, from mainland..

Ocean park is bigger and better than disneyland in terms of fun and items, but both have their adv/disadvantages.
u will just find tat time travel too fast in Ocean park and too slow at Disneyland.

hmm. hk disneyland is still quite small compared to other disneylands in other countries, but i believe it will get bigger each year as one more new land coming up completed by next year.

it seems it had been quite a long time since i last blogged.
it seems like nothing happened in the month of september.
this month is October already. November coming in 2 weeks' time.

Anyway, i will still update my life here. Maybe its because of work, and some other personal commitments, that i may not time to come here to blog, but nonetheless , i will still keep this blog going, maybe 1 post/month?, so as to last through to my Uni days, when i will revive it AGAIN!.

I had passed my basic and final theory tests in a space of abt 30-35 days. simply because i applied through school.'HAHA'. its not cheap, but it certainly ensures u pass the hurdles of tackling theory of driving, so you wont worry too much about passing your test. but seriously speaking, for ppl who are 'A lvls' or 'poly' graduates, they really dun need to sign up thru sch, as based on their qualifications, they can ease thru the theory papers just by self-studying. However, its the lack of confidence in us, as we are not at all familiar with theory of driving, just like learning science in p3, when u dont noe anything about science.So just to be safe, pay more n get over it.(:

I have also started practical lessons, this time, learning from private instructors. After going for
some lessons, i really suggest private practical lessons. They teach on roads, not circuits.

Disadvantage is tat it is dangerous as you may not know how to handle the experienced drivers or road bullies on the road, since u r driving with a L plate, you may get nervous as many situations can happen on the road. But, ur instructor will always 'save' you from accidents.LOL.

Advantage is tat you are driving on main roads in the future, and not in circuits. So more practices on main roads are important, and also build ur confidence in handling situations on the road.:)

Anyway, i still got a long way to go b4 getting my license, as private students get their test dates later than sch students. Nevertheless, im not in a hurry!!:)


Thirdly, the beloved Team Leader of Delta, is leaving the team le. It is just saddening to hear this news, as he is leaving for some mission. I have just worked under him for abt one and half months, and despite some of his 'funny' rules of the team, he is a 'fatherly' figure of the team, and take care of his men well. This can be proved by wat he had said b4...'' Anything dunno, dun worry, call ur TL, i will answer for u, throw the sh*t to me, anything wrong, i still have my rank.'' WOW. this is the most noble person i have seen, and who is willing to protect you from troubles that will affect ur career. -salutes.
anyway, his understudy, who is taking over later, is not tat bad after all, as he came to APD around the same time as us, 126th intake.

125th intake guys have just promoted, tat means 3 more months for me b4 i get my rank + pay increase:).


1 more year to go b4 i ORD. 1 more year. i just cant wait!!!
now my frens are alr in uni, enjoying campus life, lectures exams...
Really cant wait to be a student again.
-wake up, go to school, find friends, lectures, ask questions, do projects, CCAs, play- student

-wake up, go to work, pray tat u dun get sh*t duties, pray tat everything go smoothly, cover ur ___, pray u dun get charged over minor/meaningless issues- NS.

hmm, n in the early stages of me in Delta, i am always asked the old same questions..

haha. its not an easy question to answer man..haha..

its just like u had left, for e.g. TPJC, where all ur friends n buddies are there.. for..e.g. TJC, which is a more renowed sch n with only some 'hi-bye' frens there..

ha..so how to answer?.. it is a neither here nor there.. Yes in ur mind, No in ur heart.. lol

so my answer is.. OK la..and end the conversation with a smile.haha.

and seriously, my time in delta is really short, n its not easy to noe everyone well.. but i think detla has a good n fatherly TL tat makes everyone feel comfortable in the team. And true enough, i did noe some of the ppl there.. even thou it's quite difficult at 1st..

but it is actually v easy with just a simple action tat not many ppl are willing to do it. :

Based on scientific research, it is easier to smile than frowning ur eyebrows, as smiling uses less energy n exercise less muscles than frowning!.^^

n yES!. true enough, i just got a friend in delta, whom i am deceived to be just a NSman, maybe ard 20, but he is actually a regular officer at the age of 27. HAHA. it surprised me when he showed me his IC no. lol. n he also admitted that ppl always misjudge his age cos of his face. n he tell me this...

''You know why i look so young?.. cos im always happy, and u look younger when u r happy, and why is there the need to be angry?.''

And from an advice from a SI of 20 years of service, he told us 126th guys after we know our teams..

''No matter where you go, the most important thing is to blend well with ur team''

anyway, i have started work in airport..!

not too bad..

shift work has started!..

not too bad..n also not too good i think..hah

good-

1. only need to wake up early once in 4 days...

2. work fewer days than others..get $100 more for ops pay.

3. 2 days off to go out..even on weekdays.hehe

bad-

1. the 1st day off is used for sleeping mainly after the night shift.haha.not a real 1 day off..

2. long hrs man..got to hold on for 12 hrs.

3. not all weekends are free..may work on public holidays too.. for me.. NATIONAL DAY la!..still need to work..lol.

besides all these..

airport is a nice place to work in..

but it is also a place where u will become lazy n unfit easily..haha. seriously..

so for me..i gonna exercise on weekdays liao...

if not.......lol

Finally!. the training is over!..

no more HTA for me.!.. no more 'left right left right ' for me!..haha.

wow. bunk 4 of NS03/07 is still the best la..haha.

finally all of us pass out from hta. no more NPCO or APO left behind.

whoho!. but FI binyang remain, but no as a trainee!.haha.

ok la. the feeling is jus so good. everyone come in together, some stayed another 3 months for NPCO, n in the end all pass n out of training camp. All went to their divisions n all the best to them!.

haha. anyway, im alr out from there on 13/7/07, but i jus post it out.haha. on 13/07/07, we also went to APD!. my posting for 1 1/2 more to ORD.haha. i have been there b4, so its not much of a problem. people are also nice, but i still have yet to see the true colours.hah.

lesson at APD are ending soon, teaching abt aviation security..haha.

n YA!. food at T2 is the BEST in airport i think.

mixed rice from ALLAN, and the fish n chip stall there. wow. n some other malay stalls selling chicken rice. i can tell u, these stalls will make u fat if u work in airport.haha.

but its ok for me i think..cos when shift starts, i may not be able to go there everyday.haha

actually NS really helps u get a feel of wat is like in the real work, n so will equipt u will necessary experience when u r out to start ur career next time..

Theirry Henry is leaving Arsenal alr!..
wat will happen to Arsenal???..

i think he is the only player i saw him transferred to arsenal, watch him play for 8 seasons, topping the scoring charts for 80% of the seasons he played, n even he is injured, he still can chalk up at least 20 goals.OH!. where can u find this kind of god-like player?..

oh well. he is leaving, at the age of 29 yrs 11 month. just hope tat he wont end up like several arsenal players who have sold to spanish clubs, by injuring themselves n miss part of the season.


alright, tats end of the arsenal news. i just hope tat he will be happy at barca.


OK!. im left with 2 more weeks of training in HTA lo!..whahaha.
hence, theoretically, i will be passing out on 13/7/2007. which means i will leave HTA on the 13th n will not come back anymore until further notice!! ( maybe once or twice i got to come back for NAPHA or Shooting test)

haha. 2 weeks passes very fast!. n passing out on the 13th also allow me to celebrate my birthday 1st b4 being posted to APD.haha. if not due to the unstable shiftwork plan, my birthday maybe be a working day for me if i pass out earlier.haha.

i still miss my NS03/07 squad. i think its the best squad n people i can have la.haha. to narrow it down, i still prefer my bunk 4 than the whole squad.haha. anyway, my present NPC squad doesnt mean anything to me as it is jus a temporary sqaud which goes lesson together. nothing more. anyway, 2 more weeks n we will jus go. n APOs are better ppl than npco. i can also say that the only OC i have is SI indra devi( NS 03/07), who has recently promoted to SSI.woot!.

ok. my life will be abit more different after i pass out from the training camp!..

advantages:
1) i can go home n sleep every night!. i would not be disturbed by errie things occuring in the hta.
2) no more flag-raisings!. no more stupid '' do not move'' commands by the FI 'M'.haha.
3) no need to march like robots anymore!.
4) no need to spend $1 to wash clothes anymore.
5) no need to sialan the OCTs anymore, cos they themselves noe that they sux.
6) no need to put a fake front n 'wayang' here n there to evade punishment.
7) no more stupid water parades when ppl wan to sleep.

disadvantages:
1) no more afternoon naps liao.haha. but u never noe!.haha.
2) not every weekends are free, but i maybe free on weekdayS!.haha.
3) got to take busses more often. but i will get a concession pass!.
4) new bosses, but i think no matter who they r, they are still better than prata. HAH!.
5) no more watching of shows in the evening at the cafe, like DEal or No DeAL, Campus superstar....but i may watch it at home!.haha.

ok, not much disadvantages u see.
ok!. 2 more weeks of training, n maybe 1 more week of packup n cleaning, i will at APD lo!.
finally!. after 3 months of useless cum meaningless cum stupid cum time-wasting training.whoho.

ok. lets look ahead!. by next week when im here to post, it will be 1 more week of training lo!.
with tat, my pay will also be increased!!.

anyway,
yesterday is TPJC Plasir De Chanson 2007!.whohoho.
its so fun.
i have been involved in this for 3 years, 2005,2006,2007!.haha.but 2007 as a guest, as i have already graduated le. anyway, it was great fun returning to stage!.

My friends and I got to perform 2 songs, And So it Goes and Stand By Me.
the best achievement is tat we only get together to learn it on last saturday only!!.haha.
in abt 2 to 3 practices, we get the song together, n put up a real good performance.
We also think of the choreography on the day of the performance!.haha.so impromtu yea. but we dint screw up on stage, but instead it was well received by the audience!.lol.

Yestday i also managed to come out for the performance.. but b4 tat, i had to see many ppl for approval.lol.aiya, anyway tat prata is jus a 'S' 'O'. its ok!. my 1/2 day leave is not wasted!.

tmr is JUNE 1 lo. it has been abt 2 months since i POP lo!.haha.
im somehow getting sick in hta alr. not the barraks, not the food, but just the rules, the morning assembly, the PTs. anyway, its jus 1 more month to go, i hope!..

ok, im so happy after yesterday's concert. anyway, today is vesak day, i go n pray
for a better life ahead in SPF.

anyway, i got 2 letters from NTU n NUS liao.
NTU- School of physical n mathematical science : chemistry n biological chemistry
NUS- Faculty of science

NTU called me during april 1st week to go to ntu for a so-called 'interview' which in the end the prof talks only..n ask for our questions.haha.
den NTU letter came 1st..so im more towards NTU..haha.almost duncare abt NUS..

den NUS letter came. HAHA. oh my god. wat to do. but i shant complain much too. so its now 1 choice to make between 2 Unis :)

Why NTU:
1) firstly, direct honours in 3-4 yrs.
2) New building coming up in 2007 with new facilities new+++
3) job attachment of 6 months at least in final yr
4) exemption from QET since i pass GP

Why NUS:
1) longer history, more established, more popular
2) nearer

Why not NUS:
1) have to take QET since my gp dun meet its requirements to exempt from it.ha.
2) 4-1 honours programme, which means only abt 25% of students may graduate w honours.
3) attachment only for final yr, applied chem , food n tech students. so wat about other students?..haha.

this 2 days i keep reading n comparing abt NTU n NUS.lol.
from wat i see la..
abt 75% of students at NUS graduate w/o honours.-n tat is also said from the prof in NTU, who was once a prof in NUS.haha. he says students at 3 rd yr who r forced to graduate w a general degree cry to him to let them go to 4th / honours yr, but based on NUS, he cant do tat due to their results.ha. so according to him, wat can they do w jus a general degree?..childcare centers teachers?...lol.

n now, according to the prof now in NTU, he says direct honours programme doesnt mean u will get a honours degree at the end of 4 yr, but if u r good enough n qualified to be a honour-degree holder, they dun see why it shouldnt be given to u.haha. n from tat, he can gurantee it is at least 60%..compared to NUS 25%.

And this makes me think n think which one to choose.haha. n since i cant get into Pharmacy- my desired choice in NUS, i am less interested in other courses liao.haha. furthermore, chemistry w/o attachment, which means u r not exposed to the industry work of chemistry outside, u r only able to excel in the theory part..which means..teacher next time?.haha.

wow wow wow. there is still1 month to decide.
and maybe 2 more years b4 i start my course.haha.

ANYONE out there who have any details abt 'which uni is better' feel free to leave something in the tag board.haha. this may make my job of deciding easier.lol.
