OK guys..im back from Olomouc, Czech ..Vienna,Austria
i ll jus give a brief description of wat heppened there..den go into details later..
Tampines Junior College Choir got back 3 GOLD medals,
topped 2 catergories along the way, in
Mixed Youth Superior..YES!!..its superior!!..(96/100)
Equal Voices( 95/100)
and got GOld in Mixed Youth too..(95/100)
* i may not get the marks correct.tell me if there are mistakes..but in anycase..they r near to perfect!..haha..

The Vocal Consrt got 2 golds in Folklore and Open MIxed Superior
They got full marks (100/100) in both catergories..!
Hence, the vocal consort and TPJC male chorus got into the grand Finals!!..which is telecast live on some czech website..
In the end, a czech boys choir got the grand prize..with duno how many boxes( the votes)..
(they are owning)

im continuing the rest in the following..haha..some ppl may find it interesting but some may find it boring la..but in anycase..it will be quite long..so it is advisible to stop here n continue reading other parts the next time u come..haha..=)

ok guys...i will start day by day..

Day1-
Reach the airport at 5+ pm with the other 3 to study at delifrance..lol..
den a few joined came after 7++..n slacked at delifrance with our luggage until 11+ den we go up to Emirates counter. ppl were discussing what they have brought over there..n Luke said he brought PS1..but only got 1 controller..lol..den he suddenly knew tat he forgot his black shoes..den he rushed home n take..
12am, everyone assembled at the emirates counter..parents relatives of the choir pps all gathered around the counter..haha..hugging their children..asking them to take care of themselves..all tat la..ha..dint ask my mom to come..cos im old enuff le..n also dunwan her to cry..cos she did when i left with my pri sch to taiwan in pri 6. hehe
den we wasted abt 1 hr to gather the ppl to check in..cos its jus too unorganised..ppl were wandering everywhere..
den we checked in n proceed to the waiting area lo..the plane departs at 330 am ..
Emirates Airlines..
3.30am..
we board the plane n i was wondering whether Emirates is better or lousier than SQ, whether they have in-flight entertainment like Krisworld of SQ..so when i went in..1st thing i look out for is a small screen in front of every seat..if there is one..den there will be games n movies!..YEA!..
n yes..every seat has a small screen in front , n in fact, the controllers, the screen are exactly the same ones as SQ planes..wow..but the things inside are not the same..haizz...
the interesting games tat i came across are jus Scrambledash, tetris, poker ..tats all ba..haha..
but at least they got multiplayer games..wheeee..
we were served 3 breakfast n 2 lunch during this 2 long flights...some are good..some are OK..
3 breakfast 2 lunch in this abt 16 hrs of flight..cos the time kept pushing back..
so we set of at 3.30am 7/6/2006 in S'pore n arrived in Vienna at 4++ 7/6/2006 ...
b4 this , we got to transit at Dubai..it looks modern..vibrant..crowded...
when we reached Vienna, we took a 3++ hr bus ride to the city of Olomouc, a town in Czech Republic..checked in hotel, live with ks, n dinner at the hotel restaurant..went to hotel aftertat..
A live match of China n France..friendly..went to friends' room n watch..den go back to room n sleep..
a day has passed..

Day2-
woke up at 6++ in the morning..still felt tired cos of the long flight..den we have warmup with nelson..den sing with consort in the friendly concert..sang pok pok, noyosa, dieu,yee vue..think so..den sing with TPjc choir..in mixed chorus n male chorus..i think its jus a warm up for us..as we need to get used to singing in cold climates, and we also dint sing for sometime le..abt 2 days?...hehe..den went to St. Maurice Church Tower..to learn abt the organ..we went into the church..but the space is too small for everyone to get a seat..so some stand..so me jul jil val ks george sit all the way back..n take pics lo..haha..cos we cant hear the person speaking..
den later went down to the church..sing ave verum with tpjcchoir n ave maria with consort to test the acoustic of the church..whaha..den after singing..a judge of the comp heard us sing ..n i heard him say 'bravo' to nelson after tat..wahah!!..
after tat we went back to hotel to get ready for our evening opening concert..its the same place as our competition ..so we use this as an acoustic check for our songs..after tat, get back to hotel..
another day passed..2 more days to competition..

Day3-
woke up again..n today we have a full day of sectionals n combined practices..n since im singing in consort n tpjcchoir..there is no rest for me..sing the whole day..but i find them all quite effective..at least for the consort small grps..duno anything from tpjchoir tat side..
every meal is provided in the hotel..so after tat..sleep again..resting our voices..
something happened today which canot be elaborated
another day passed..competition next day..

Day4-
Competition Day!..but duno y some ppl wan to action or wan to show his hard work in choir..he called everyone to assemble at 630 to start warm up..limbei jus got into toilet after ks jus finished bathing..den bathe 1/2 way heard ks say warm up at 630..den we like wtf?..y were we only informed now..n somemore tat time im bathing..so i need to rush la!!..zz..so i change to black clothes n went to meet the ppl...den 1st thing i saw is him doing pam(1) pam(2)..den im like $%^&* !!??..early in the morning sing so high.. den .i jus tell the basses not to sing tat much..cos its hurting our voices...den after tat ms quck come in say abt breathing in breathin out..duno she really crazy or wat..the place is filled with smoke from the cafeteria downstairs?..haizz.
after tat we get to our competition places..
i need to rush between 2 halls to compete..1 for consort folklore n 1 for consort mixed superior, male chorus n tpjc mixed chorus..
all the competition ended at 3.30..with consort singing as the last choir for open mixed superior.. 4 pm, results are announced at the big square..n everyone jumped for joy..huggin each other to celebrate..n when we heard consort 100 pts..im like..WAaaa..full marks.haha..den i keep saying where is RJC..where is RJ chorale..lol..
after tat we took photos around the square..n ppl were enjoying themselves..cos consort n tpmale chorus got into grand finals later on..
so we have our dinner..n get back to serious work after tat to concentrate on the grand finals..
den we do slight warmup to jus warm up our voice n relax..
7+..grandfinals!..ppl in singpore were watching us online ..
male chorus went in 1st n consort went in 4th..
male chorus- fisherman's song, celtic blessing, kishuno
consort- yee veu, pok pok, nyoyosa, meplelian
In the end, a boys choir of czech emerged as grand winners of Festival of Songs Olomouc 2006.
Consort came in 3rd, Tpjc male chorus came in 6th..

We were a bit sad not winning the grand prize..but i told them to get back to the mood we had jus now in the square!..celebrating wildly everywhere..
den we got back to hotel..n i bathed liao n went to luke/terry's room..to play!...haha..
den george me luke terry ssk hk richard daryl prem n the 2 came in too..
luke kept cooking maggi mee for the ppl..den i help along the way..n cook too much..in the end ..he helped to finish the noodles..den slack in the room...
den suddenly george too tired until he slept at terry's bed..den next the 2 fell..den i fell..
den i sleep n sleep..den i duno y i suddenly wake up n walk into my own room..lol..i walk in n fall alseep immediately on my bed...next day i woke up..terry ask me where i go yest nite..lol..
quite a happy day i must say..

Day5-
woke up very early n board the bus back to vienna.. we miss hotel sigma ..
we reached vienna 4 hrs later..passing the beautiful fields n grasses of czech..
den later go to some crystal shop in vienna..ha..jus a waste of time...
den got into some shopping area..den ppl start grabbing for mozart chocolates..n i also bought some ..
den after tat go some sight seeing at some buildings..statues..den take lots of statues..
den check into the hotel..a nice hotel..with bathtubs..with drinkable mineral water..with balcony..with big towels..with soccer channels..with ..'adult channels'?..haha!..tat one need to pay for the next 2 min u watch..1st 2 min free..lol..btw..i dun wan to watch..lol..!!
den tat nite go frens room play play..den sleep at frens room also..dint sleep well..as no one wanted to sleep ..cos its last nite in europe le..
-something happened which i duno,u duno..lol.

day6-
we packed our bags..n did some last minute shopping b4 we head to the airport for the flight back to s'pore..we went to the so-called 'largest shopping mall in Europe''..duno its true or false..
the area of the mall is big..n the walking space is also very big lo..this means..not enuff shops to make the mall crowded..haizz...in the end jus buy a few chocolates..biscuits..cos things r jus too ex. to buy..or i duno wat to buy..hehe
next..we headed to the airport to take the flight to Dubai again!!..i wanted to buy lots of things there...or at least use up some of my money..3 hrs to shop in dubai..buy some clothes..nice keychains la..
den we 4 n prem walk ard in dubai..watch soccer on the big screen..den slacked outside a shop examining dubai money..lol..i got confused by their no. i took their $1 as $0.10..den as a result..i donate the coins away..cos i thought they're jus a few cents or dollars..haha..but when i found out their real value..i duno i donated how much liao..haha..
den dubai water is also quite tasty..she almost drank 4 bottles of it..haha..
den went to dunkin donuts to use up my euro coins..
N i noe Hk will be there..cos he loves tat place!.haha..
we slacked ard there until its time to enter the gate..

day7-
its midnight b4 we board the plane from dubai to s'pore..passing colombo along the way..
quite like my seating on that plane..cos got frens all ard my seats...whee..i wont feel bored..lol..play scrambledash, tetris , battleship again..haha..sleep n eat again...
den reach singapore at 4+ pm..n saw lots of family members waitng for their kids..haha..i went home myself..cos i told my mum i wld return the next day..haha..but got into jil's mothers car..thx anyway..also abit paiseh..asking ur mom drive here drive there..lol..
after tat went home change n went out with frens again..to eat to slack..wheeee....



anway..i missed some matches of the WC due to competition..the time i watch WC there is
3pm,6pm,9pm..in spore..its 9am 12 am 3 am..whee...
there are channels tat show the matches there..but i dun have it in spore..haizz..haha..

Ok..ive returned from the czech trip..next up is panorama thingy..jus pissed me off after wat happened yest n today..haizz...blog abt tat another day..

so i got to take out the indian costume n hang the coloured cloth around my neck in the shortest time ever..
however, jus tat when i thought im in the same costume with others..
i forgot to take off my shoes..haha..so others went barefooted..with im still with my shoes..lol..
however, it doesnt matter i think..as im standing at the last row..no one can see my legs!..hehe..
i think ppl will also be wondering how i could change so fast..haha..exit n enter the stage with a different costume in a period of 10 sec..lol..

And congrats to val for performing well in ur piano accompaniment..hehe..though u said u screwed up some parts..but u r still the best yea?..haha..since u picked up only 1 week b4 the concert..hehe..3 cheers n 3 cheers n 3 cheers for u!..whee

now i get my gold..after some hardwork..hehe..

today..
i have an important story to tell everyone..

Once upon a time, there is a chinese teacher, who pays great attention to the words, the proununciation of chinese words being said by his students. The 2 hanyu pinyin that always confuse his students are 'bopo' and 'mofo'. This is because the 2 hanyu pinyin are difficult to read. They are not easy. The words they form are also quite complicated, and they can be deceiving too.

In his class, there are 2 boys who are worried about their pronounciation of chinese words. One boy cant pronounce 'bopo' correctly and another canot pronounce 'mofo' correctly. Hence, these 2 boys keep saying bopo and mofo almost everyday to make sure they say it correctly. These 2 boys got the names of bopo and mofo in the end.

One day, mofo's classmates are very angry with his behaviour and attitude. The chinese teacher hence wants to talk to him. '' I hate your attitude. I really dont know what is really in ur mind, wats ur motive when u enter my class. I made u the class monitor, but tat doesnt give u the power to play around! Its OK to have relationships. But what makes your classmates' blood boil is ur irresponsible attitude in relationships. YOU alr have broken the hearts of 2 girls, however, 1 of them is clever enough not to go with u. n NOW..u have gone for the other girls!..Wat the hell are you doing?..You like to play with relationships?..But relationships are NOT TOYS! Love at 1st sight, Sick at the 2nd?..throw the old toy when u saw a new wat. And now, u even have the termerity to go and steal a toy which belonged to someone else..

As a teacher, I would not let that happen, n if u insist on carry on ur ' 1 girl 1 month' policy, i would not let u off. Furthermore, u have disappointed me in ur position as the CLASS MONITOR. U have used this position to get close to girls, which i think is the worst thing one could have done. Its Utterly horrids, utterly disappointing. Maybe its a bit too late to demote u as u only have abt 1 month b4 u step down..however, in my eyes, u r NOT fit to be the Class monitor!.Therefore, i hereby warn you, u better stop all ur tricks, ur nonsense before u are cRUxified by me.

And attention to all girls out in the class, I hoped u have seen the example of 1 girl who have been hurt by MOFO so badly tat the pain still lingers with her .. My message doesnt mean tat u shld avoid him in class, its just tat u all shld be ultra careful when dealing with him, as U might be the next victim, which i dont wish to see it happen again. I wont tolerate any nonsense from u again.''

Suddenly, Bopo is called by the chinese teacher again. '' These few days, i have noticed tat u have very itchy hands..u jus could keep ur hands to urself..and maybe u shld have named urself..'mr Tachi'..U like to touch girls, rest ur whole arm on their shoulders, pull their hair. Im jus afraid that u may not control ur hands one day, and may do something sinful. I do not wish this to happen. I hereby warn u, to keep ur hands by ur side..and i wont let u off if i caught u doing 'tat'. I do not wish girls in my class to get hurt!. Girls, jus shake him off if he tries to get near u. a concert by VJC n Victoria Chorale..
its jus wonderful..
entertaining..
beautiful..
maybe $20 is too little to watch this concert?..haha..jk..
its jus too good to be missed..
although im sitting on the 3 rd lvl with richard n kenny,
im still able to see the whole choir..
except the pianist..(wasted)..lol..

2nd concert in 2 weeks..but dint regret going for these 2..haha..
n luckily i made a quick decision b4 the day of the concert to buy the ticks..
if not i wil be sitting on the highest floor..haha..wat can u see there?..lol..

came back quite late yest..11++++ den reach home..
no time to study for chem Mcq test the next day..
but got time to watch the final hightlights of the Barclays English Premier League ..
funny rite?..
so as expected..failed the mcq test today..haizz...Mcq also can fail..-shake head laio..













not a good way to sleep in class..haha..sry abbas!!..
maybe i ve been sleeping too much in lect..
but i dun sleep in tut..haha
but lect to me r useless..cant learn anything..
i learn all the topics in tutorials...n this applies to chem n maths..

so busy with choir nowadays tat i have to sacrificed my weekends lo..

anyway..choir trains ur support..ur breathing techniques..n maybe they are useful in controlling ur breaths in running 2.4?..haha...

tats the full squad of the A division Soccer team in the past 1 1/2 months..
played 8 matches..
Fortunately..really very lucky..when i heard news tat the matches r on mon n thurs..
mon n thurs match days..
tue wed fri choir..
nice?..haha
this schedule is so nicely packed tat i have to juggle with some things on each day..haha..
but have to be totally focus on the thing tat i will be doing on tat day ..
focus on match tatics..dives n saves onn mon n thurs..
focus on notes..pitch..tone. .musicality on tue wed fri..
in this way..i can be at my best for everything..haha..
but choir is still =1st..haha..

started 4 matches ..80 x 4 =320
a sub in 1 match.. 20 min
total time played.. 340 min
earned $10 for keeping 2 clean sheets in matches against HCI n TJ.
but i still use tat to treat my fellow defenders bubble teas..cos they played a part too in the def..haha..
rested for the remaining 3 games..

these are memories of soccer that i had in the past 1 1/2 months with the ppl..haha...
including cheering for each other on the field..shouting TPPPPP POWER POWER POWER b4 the start of every match ...shouting n joking on the benches..dustbin sessions after victories..n reflection sessions after defeats...n also 11 pre-match n post match team talks by nordin..

Anyway..thanks to all frens who have came down to watch the matches..haha..no matter how long u have watched..it's still a great support to the team!..n me!..haha..

anyway..tmr going VJ concert at esplanade ..duno where i will be sitting..but i think tat the performance will be so great tat it dun make any diff sitting anywhere..somemore its in esplanade!..haha..

today is a day full of activities...
anyway..jus got back from MJC concert..
quite a wonderful one..as this is the 1st time ive been to a MJC concert..
A musical, with my pri-sch fren of 6 yrs , Mr Huang Ying Chuan, as the male lead actor..
haha..dint noe u can act so well...no doubts abt ur singing though..haha...
i jus found the musical the highlight of the whole concert...
1st half ar..hmm..no much comments ba...haha.

anyway...i have sold 2 TICKets!!...duno its an achievement or not..haha..

jus now met some of my sec sch frens at VCH who went to mj concert too...
cos they were from Mj...
tried to publicise my ticks too..not bad la...

even though i noe the topics..i jus merely copy down the solutions in class..n i jus tell myself i will redo it...but i dint...haizzzzz...

also saw some of the choir ppl..haha..as they have jus finished their sectionals n came down to watch the soccer match.. even for the few minutes u all saw Mj scoring beautiful goals..haa..

My wrist is hurting now..canot bend backwards..its a careless and stupid injury i suffered in warm-up jus b4 the match.. I dint wear my gloves properly..meaning dint tighten my glove, b4 i made a dive on a low shot..i Saved iT!..but screamed in pain later..Argghh!.. its Painful!..
i took off my glove n try to twist my hand..i jus felt something is broken..or my bone dislocated...
after a while i jus cant bend my hand backwards..tried to find any medication or sprays tat could reduce the pain in my wrist..but to no avail..I know im out of the Mj match liao...

now im feeling painful even while writing n typing..lol...
Luckily there is no violin lesson this sat..if not my wrist goona break..haha..cos im gonna shake it like hell!!..haha..no pull-ups also...but there can be CHOIR!!..it doesnt need my right hand to sing!!..

NOw im free le...no need to be stressed over unnecessary pressures..like winning matches..keeping clean sheets..hah..n i hope im able catch up with my work!!...

let me elaborate more about it..

On that day, i reached the school at 8 am..suposedly at 7 cos i live near to school...
when i reach LT4, almost everyone was there,
den we decorated the whole Lt, and even covered the entrance of LT 4 with black garbage bag, making the whole entrance pitch dark...(tat idea is from me)..since we have so many garbage bags..

den i had my make up with camo..making my whole face black...n i spiked my hair...
as if i had jus survived an explosion...imagine how would i look like..

den we start my role of grabbing people's leg when they walk up the stairs...starting its not scary..cos its jus some stupid tpjc guys...who find nothing interesting in the LT n jus walk n walk n finish the pathway...they r jus wasting their own time...who cares!!??..f their attitude

When our 1st outsider came, a father n a child, we tried our best to scare them, cos they r not like the tpjc guys, who dont give a damm abt the whole process..
so, when they 1st entered, they have to watch a scary video, jus parts of Ju-On, and Shutter..
after tat, they walked up the stairs where i will grap their legs...den Fatin will throw a doll on the floor n keep stabbing...the small boy is quite scared..but he had his father by his side..
Den he walked to the top, where qilin will be throwing around a head to scare them lo...den he walked to the emergency door, where abbas is inside with a swinging doll when the door is opened..the boy nearly cried n we found it quite successful...

Den we stayed from 10 am to 5.30 pm..when all the booths have closed, and almost all the students have gone home..we were still acting inside..haizz...damm tired la..
missed lunch, n only had 1 small carbury chocolate to fill my stomach...poor thing...n i became a hungry ghost after tat..haha...

Actually its a good experience seeing ppl screaming for help..seeing their frightening faces..haha...i ve called some choir ppl to come n look for me in the haunted hse, try out the pathway...but its just too hot to be cooled..haha..Sry la guys!!..

Anyway..i only saw Dixon!!..i was resting on the floor..cos some other ppl is taking my shift..den i suddenly woke up cos i heard Dixon's voice!!...he jus kept screaming n screaming after the video is over..n i dun even have time to catch him la...hes so scared that hes jus screaming n screaming n jus ran out of the house!!..haha..

Choir also have a booth for carnival..SORRY CHoir ppl for me not appearing in the choir booth..n dint even watch u all sing..haha..cos im trapped in LT4 for 7 hrs!!..haha...I hope the performances are OK!...

Enough abt carnival liao la...so much things to say..so many jokes to share abt the ppl in the haunted hse...

CHOIR CAMP IS SOOOO FUN!!!...
it has just ended...on saturday 4.00 pm..
Knew a lot of J1 through this camp..n also get to noe more abt some J2..!!

and also cleared my doubts abt some of the names in choir..cos i just kept guessing n guessing their names...haizz....finally get to noe them..!!..

Just think tat this is the best orientation i have in a CCA ba....compared to last year...when we just spent 1 night in school...no activities..jus talk among urself...den proceed to siglap early in the morning for workshop to prepare us for SYF...haizz...TATS LAST YEAR!!...

I just think that my sec sch is the place where i can find back all my Best and Loyal Buddies..

Sometimes, i wonder if i had made a mistake going separate routes from my best friends..
But its important to make new friends and to know more ppl..
I wonder if i had made the wrong choice of coming here in the 1st place..

everybody was shy at first..until someone starts the ball rolling...
den everyone keep voicing out..until there was not enuff time ...
most interesting i tink was the one raised by ah pok..abt campus superstar...haha...
n qns were being bombarded at the SC...haha...until they can only say
' we will look into it''....lol....how to looK?...with ur EYES la!!...

Den today is also Valentine's day...
it is so different compared to sec sch...let alone pri sch...haha...
everyone was exchanging gifts..n i received some also la..haha..

Today is MOnday/....

but shall talk abt things yesterday...

had nothing to do...

so went to the NEW SIA SPORTS CLUB

to have a swim..

its 1st time i went there...since it has moved from changi village there..

Very nice...facilities are gd also..

swimming pool with a jacuzzi...lol..

but dint care too much abt tat la...since i will have a lot of chance to go there...

so i swam 1 km...haha...

n the water in the pool taste like plain water lo...haha...its jus too clean for swimming...lol

after tat went to Jackpot room to play ...............................................................Jackpot la...

lose a little bit only...den suddenly my mother strike a 'Flush"?... screen showing 99999....haha...

$50 worth of $1 coins drop out....wahahha....

den teacher scold 1/2 way...den scold abt rowena posting on tpjc.net forum...

saying chinese is not important...n telling everyone she is also skiping chinese...

this make the teacher very angry...wa...n i think becos of her den she made the teacher until her face was red...

i n my fren also angry la...cos we dint post ma...den teacher keep scolding ...like we 3 are the one who start telling ppl to skip MT lessons....zz...

at the end my teacher jus want us to go for lessons later at 9 am....

den she bring everything up ...homework..notes all tat n give to us n tell us finish...haha...

I have skipped almost abt 3 or 4 weeks of her lessons liao..haha...1st 3 weeks of sch n 3 lessons last week...haha...


DEn afternoon got S paper selection test for chem lo...

qns are easy la...i cna do one...jus dint memorise...

i jus dint study these..cos me aravin n idaly were predicting super difficult qns..

Tired tired....

road run is over!...

get a considerable placing..better than last year..haha...

133 out of duno how many boys...

dint warm up b4 race...as i was late...but still maintained at least 3 km b4 my legs are cramped...

too much latic acid are accumulated in my muscles le...n somemore i dint warm up...

but im still quite satisfied with my placing la....at least better than 'matub'....lol...

after race...den went to drink Milo...den only saw Syed finish his race n no more others from my class... den after i had collected abt 5 cups of milo...den the others came back....

Last but not least...the girls of 05S08 did the class proud!!....by winning the top group event...with 3 of the 4 girls finish inside the top 30....

1st is pratibha...den Meining...den Faizura ....den shahirah....

n Mrs tay (maths teacher)..also came in 1st in the teachers race...whahaha...

Ohya... Syed came in 8th in boys race....gd gd gd gd ....

after that went to watch I NOT STUPID....

funny .. nice.. and a touching story ....n i think it is most suitable for parents to watch to understand abt their children more....



somemore....a chungcheng girl sit beside me while watching....quite chio...haha...but i think she's still in secondary sch..cos her name tag is still on.....haha...

Today is a very loooooong day...

jus came back from choir...

but only went for like...15 min?...lol...cos have maths S paper lesson...

haizz....the same thing goes on....the teacher jus keep talking n talking...n i jus copy n copy...

of all the 4 qns he went through.. i only understand the last qns...

the qns are abt AP GP...the qns is like telling stories...haiz...dun elaborate liao...

CHoir have a new song to learn...a latin CREDO....

i went into choir room 15 mins b4 they end..den look at the score...

seems easy for the bass...but it seems difficult for the whole choir...lol..

alot of chords from ATB...n meloday from sop....hmm...need to learn properly

New yEar is finally over....but no!....
it lasted for 15 days...today is jus the 4th day...

Im sooooo HAPPY that i have successfully introduced the game ' InBetween' to all my relatives this new year...bring much joy..excitement... laughter..

I dint play much of this game...but still played at the end..n lose a little only...
Maybe this game will pass on n maybe this is another game to be played during chinese new year.....

I also played Mjong...haha...n with this my wish is fulfiledd...lol..

I am so happy the past few days tat i forgot abt posting it here...
these are gd news for MY younger BROTHER!!!....

He has just returned from BAngkok this tue ..24/1/2005 11 pm by Air Asia..
He flew to Bangkok last thurs for an ARCHERY COmpetition...!!!....
My parents n i went to the airport to fetch him....
upon seeing him inside.....my mother is so happy...haha...
n the 1st thing i ask him when he came out...
DID u win anything?...
He said got win 1 medal...
tats a team Bronze...
i like so HAPPY for HIM la..
This is an INternational COMPETITION leh!!!!!!!
Comprising of mainly Spore n Thailand national archers..
but he not happy with bronze....
den he explain everything to me abt the competition...
den i noe y hes so sad...
his team comprises of 3 archers...
he shoots 530+/600...another friend 540+/600...
But his another teammate shoots jus 450+/600...
he says if he n his fren of 540+ pts together is enough to beat the rest...
but the it is a 3 man team...so with the 450+ added in...they are pulled down to 3rd...
he says the guy's form dipped too much...n he was one of the best archers b4 the com.

Anyway...I am so proud of him...
Win a Medal from overseas...

He also missed out on the InDiviDual Catergory...getting 4th...
He is being sabotaged by some KUKU cheap opponents whom i think r afraid of him..
they bend his arrow rest...resulting him losing his sight(the thing on the bow)....
arrows are not tat consistent on the bulls eye..
luckily that is only the sighter end ( a round of u to adjust ur sight).
But tat also causes him to keep adjusting his sight..
BUT....He is still able to get 4TH!!!...
So proud so proud....

He also bought 2 jersey....1 looks real...1 looks super fake...
but he jus buy la..since its cheap...abt 200 baht...
2 arsenal jersey...which are Maroon...
but the maroon of each jersey is different..haha..
one is darker than the other one..haha..

At last ...
U had brought some glory home from overseas...hahahaha
lol...after winning so many inter-sch or local competitions...
getting into Spore Youth Team somemore..haha..
whole sch proud of u man!!...
He is shooting 70m now..n the last time n furtherest distance i have shot using sch's kuku bow is jus 50m..at red only...
I think u can even beat any of the volleyball players for Eagles award liao la...or beat them in terms of CCA pt..
cos hscVolleyball is like National 4Th...


I jus believe that he has the flair in Archery...
i think he 1st time touch a bow is when he is in P5...when im in sec 1...
the time when i brought home a sch bow to prepare for a shoot the next day...
den he looks so interested tat he take up n learn to pull...
tat is years back...

n now..he is using his metal bow which cost abt $****...n had gone very far..n maybe u will be the next one competiting for Spore in SEA Games..Y not...hes only 15...lol...Next Sea games...only 16+++...

OK la...enough abt my brother..Hope he will bring back more glory...hehe...

The week is ending soon...In about 3 days??....

This week is quite a tiring week for me...
1st maths s-paper lesson..
had to skip choir to go for the lesson...hate to do tat...cos got new songs to learn...
somemore..at the s-paper lesson held by Mr Chew...only understand 50% i understand...48% is i dreaming...n 1.9999% is qns too difficult....what does that mean???...-help me infer-...lol...
lesson end at 645...den when i return to choirroom tat time...they finished the song 'Kua di feng'
already...sian...but i managed to learn it myself!!...hehe...

3rd week of sch le...new members of choir coming in soon...
jus yest..there are ppl coming in for audition by Mr Nelson, our conductor..
most of them got in..except 1...who is tone death...keep singing the same notes wrongly...haizz...
but still got many others who got in..some more got 1 chio one...from Duman..hehe...ks shld noe.lol...

Our cip- service learning is on this sat....
Can predict that it will be a mess...an embarrassment?...n maybe a boring trip to the children's place??...
NOthing has been planned!!....n somemore the date is pushed forward to this sat!!...
HOw can we do this programme successfully?....

Choir will be having CHinese NEw Year 'caroling' this sunday at Botanic Gardens...!!...
Have not been to there since pri. sch days...cos all the learning trips brought me to the Science center only...like...i've been there 5 times liao with different schs??...haha..
we will be singing New year songs..
songs which were born in my parents' time...
n often played on 95.8fm one...haha...
It willl be a fun experience...
n some JC1 DSA students will be joining us!!!...

Wasteful 1st week of sch...

The first week of school just ended in a twinkling of an eye. I just think that it is such a waste of time for us, J2, to go to sch this week. There are no lessons going on, as there are only lectures and all of the J1 are involved in their own Orientation. This reminds me of the joy i had with my friends last year!!...yeah..

On the 1st day of sch, nothing happened. we had civics at the 1st period but had nothing later on.
In the morning, i just cant wait to see all my classmates, cos i have almost like lost contact with them, since im always with my choir friends. Then, when i reach there, only saw about 1/4 of the class, as others are OGLs and Idaly is down with Chicken Pox..But its still fun meeting up with the rest of the people. At 9.00, we, me aravin rizal had nothing to do and wanted to go home, but a stupid SC, 'MaTuB', stood at the gate like an idiot, and just keep saying that we only can leave at 1pm.. Justin n his class is also there, n we were all so irritated. z. Then we had nothing to do, so we go to choir room to slack n walk around in sch. Den go Bedok Swimming Complex with ks n tk to swim lo...

2nd day, 1 lect to attend. Quite a stupid thing to do..go to sch to attend a lecture at 10.10, end at 11.30..n only be allowed to leave at 1pm, and also have nothing to do in the morning. I was also informed tat day we got a Topical test for Maths..but me rizal robert aravin dun feel like going for it..n me n aravin keep sneezing..lol..den we decided to go home lo..n skipped the test. n i received msgs choir have auditons on thurs n fri.

3 rd day, 1 lect again...ended at 8.20.!!!...but only can leave at 1 pm...lucky i am involved in the choir auditions ..from 8.20- 12.10...or i would be wasting my time. n Auditioning ppl..asking them to sing in appegios...n getting them to sing the correct pitch..Alot of OGs came for auditions, or rather, all the OGs are required to go for audition...But i dun see any OG with my friends as OGLs...got alot of ppl from my class are OGLs..almost 10!..got Meining, Pratiba, Shahirah, Faizura, Mohsin, Abbas, Rowena,...den see none of them with their OGL
Den after tat, slacked the whole day with chris, chin, ks, richard in the choir room...den go the canteen to see ppl playing wet games in the field...lol...

4th day, same things..audtion n lectures...den slacked after tat...n i had bad headache sia...den go home lo...den at nite come out again to play lan...den while eating...saw tpjc J1s walking around in OGs...think they have jus finished their Orientatioin Nite lo...

Haizz...1 week jus gone like tat...n no teachers have asked for holiday homework...n i hope they dont..lol...if they wan to collect...den colect only maths lo...haha.....

This year 1st day...

I now jus remembered wat i have done on New Year's Eve...
but its funny to blog it now since a new yaer has started...but a lot of events happening during this unforgettable last week of the YEAR...

on the last week of the MOnday...we soccer guys...arranged to go n watch King Kong...it is a super nice show...n it is one of the nicest show i have seen...though it is very long...i am still able to keep my eyes open for the last 2 1/2 hr...cos the 1st 1/2 hr dun seem any link to the movie..haha...
After the show..we guys den slacked slacked...duno where to go...cos everyone dun wan to go home so early...den someone suggested DOTA...den we got ppl there...n only 2 person is pro at it...so the others disagreed lo...But after a while...we decided to try the game lo..cos it seems so popular noW!!...den we play from 10+ to 12 +....got me,wq,ql,jas,kev,tk..den tk n kev is the 2 pro...n since they decided to teach us...den we play lo...play until wq n ql miss the Liverpool match against Newcastle..which they r so eager to watch at S11...but we were too addicted to it..n continue playing ..until kev n tk miss the last train...hahaha...

After this day...
We guys keep arranging Dota Meetings at kembangan..cos the rate is $1/hr...n everytime we go, we will spend at least 4 hrs there...n we jus kept thinking tat it is not enough...lol..this shows how addictive the game is...n we jus kept spending money n thinking it is cheap...it is cheap...lol...we continued going to kemb for Dota like for 5 days consecutively??...n calling more ppl to join us...with stewart n merlin...

ON New Year's EVE...
We soccer guys arranged to go out to esplande to watch Fireworks as it is quite nice n it is a day to celebrate...Den we meet at 4 pm at tamp...but b4 tat i am playing DOta already with stewart, nicholas,n some of my bro frens at pav...for 2 hr...den when i go down to meet kev, ql n wq...they say jas n scott will be free only at 6...so...we decided to go to pavilion to play DOTA!!!...haha...play 1 match b4 we meet them at city hall..!!...stewart follow us to esplande also...

Den when we met up with jas n scott at city hall...we keep making fun of scott...haha...i keep laming abt him la...duno y jus couldnt stop..haha..grass la...all tat shit...lol..
OKOK...after we reached city hall...we were deciding where to eat...cos i have skipped my lunch for Dota....I suggested Kuishin-Bo..but it is too ex for some of them...haha...$39+ buffet..so we jus walked around to esplande n think of places to eat...
Then, when we walk into marina square, Kev suggested CARL's JUnior...saying the Burger is SUper BIG...n got freeflow of drinks...haha...so we all went there...although the meal is abt 10+...it is quite worth it lo...i think this should be the REAL BURGER 'KING'!!...

After eating..duno where to go...den we walk around the mall...den saw 1 lan shop...$2.30/hr...n immediately..we think of playing DOTA!!...we suggested playing DOTA until countdown...!!...haha...the time den is 9.00pm...Den we go in play Dota until abt 11.20 pm...den we rush down to esplande for countdown...
So u see...This DOTA game is so addictive...haha...BUT it is sUper FUn la...but i need to control liao...haha...

DEn we rush down to esplande..n also see many ppl rushing there...n we follow them...n when we reached there...it is very crowded...n everyone is just trying to find a place where they can see the fireworks...
When it reached 12.00am...Fireworks jus exploded into the skies...n i think it lasts abt 10 mins?....Its very beautiful...but i dint bring my cam there...n the pics i take with my phone sucks...n very blur...lucky my big bro went too n take some video of it...

After it ended...everyone tried to walk out of the place...n it is so crowded that we took alomst 1/2 hr to jus walk out from the crowd..n we lost kevin on the way...n we jus keep shouting for him..lol..n we tried to call him but jus cant get thru...think the phone line is blocked as many ppl r calling each other to send greetings...DEn like after another 1/2 hr...he walked towards us as he was waiting at the other end...lol...

After that...we duno wat to do n we still dun wan to go home yet...den got ppl suggested DOtA AGAIN!!!>...many ppl also agreed...but marina sqare close already...haizz....den we say go pav play...den it is too late...n no more transport to go home...haha....den we jus abandoned this idea.....den we jus keep walking n find a way to city hall mrt as many entrances are blocked...n we finaly found it after almost walking the whole of city hall...Tats wat we do during NY eve...haizz...

After starting Dota...we jus kept thinking of it...haha..so we arranged to play it again jus the day b4 sch opens....n we play from 9 am to 1 pm...have lunch...den start again from 3 pm to 6 pm...spending $9 in total...den we played bball at kemb CC...den we all went home...
Haizzzz....i really played alot during the last week of the holidays...n put everything abt homewrok aside....as i realy dun have much time to play during holidays cos of choir involvement....got competitions n carolings all tat...

Now i HAve enjoyed myself n this also marks an END to my playing...n i hope i can stop playing n start work liao..haha..cos its A lvl!!>....

I cant wait for the New School term to start...so tat hopefully i will not be so addicted to Dota..haha...cos jus started recently...abt 1 week b4 sch starts..quite stupid rite...New School term start will have new faces in the school...n hopefully pretty ones in Choir...haha..

Also cant wait for all the festive periods to arrive as we can have more holidays..!!..Esp chinese new year..where 'we' can play InBetween n Mj again!!...haha...

This year is also the world cup year!!!...IN Germany!!...though i think that when some of the matches are being played..we are at CZECH liao..haha...but its OK....cos prelimary matches are not interesting...unless matched like..Brazil vs Australia...cos alot of stars are playing...
Talking abt this...i still remember writing all the interesting pts abt WC 2002 n cant wait for another WC in 2006 in my 'journal' in sec 2...den when i hand in to my chinese teacher...he commented tat I should concentrate on my A lvls n not focus on WC too much...lol...

Talking abt Choir...we will be HEADING to CZECH this year!!!...A place where Milan Baros, Peter Cech, Pavel Nedved, Tomas Rosicky,Jon Koller, n Mozart?....are born...haha...We are going in June...n tats when the WC will be ongoing...But who cares abt the WC tat time?...the FINALS is in JULy!!!...Choir Trip more Important!!....

THis year is also the 20th anniversary of TPJC...den there will be a Art Festival i think?...den it will be very busy for us...haizz...somemore this is my A lvl year...BUt i will be looking forward to it though...cos duno actually wat will happen..
I jus realised tat during the years in the schs i have studied in...i celebrated all their anniversary...
Primary school- Gongshang Pri sch.
72th Anniversary when im in P5...Celebrated by having a huge concert at Kallang Theatre...I performed tat time...
Sec school- Hscs
45th Anniversary when im in sec 4..Celebrated by having every students going for the New Paper Big Walk...z

This year is Somemore my A lvl year...n by doing this well..i will be able to choose the course of my choice in UNi...cos i duno wat to do next....haiz...I will work hard for it la...jus like promos....n hope it will be more like O lvls...haha...

After A lvl....Hope i will not be enlisted into Army so early...den i can go back to Hotel INtercont. to work again!!...whohoh....IF dint enlist so early rite..i still can go back tpjcChoir n sing...haha..sing for fun...

tats all i hope for in the NEw Year...n still got some other things tat r not gd to say it out here...ahaha...

I also hope that my class would be better...
more organisation...more democratic...less arguments...more chemistry...more teamwork...

BUt I can say 99% we would achieve it...so i can only depend on tat 1 % lo...

Lucky i join choir...got all my frens there..haha...
