From the day i am born till now..
From the day i enter primary sch till now..

I got alot of names, apart from my real name..{Ng Ding Neng}..

These names are created from the mispronunciation of all my teachers since Kindergarden to JC!!!..

N i also wonder how they can pronounce my name so 'creatively'..lol..

my name is changed to ding NING...
this is by Mr Chong, my p5/p6 form teacher..
n every student in my class called me dingning..lol..

this is invented by bryan i think..cos its easier to call me by this name when we r playing sports..like soccer or bball...haha..den all my sec 1/2 class ppl call me dingdong..namely spencer,cheekong,wailoong..........

sec 3-..ding niao...
this is invented by Derick thian..got no idea y i am called this..lol...

sec 4- ..ding neh..
this is a derivative of dingniao..haha...also modified by my class ppl..
and im both dingniao n dingneh in sec3/4...no dingneng..haha...

Actually im used to being called these names, so i might respond if u call me any of these names, cos it may be easier to remember my name this way..but it may sound stupid la..haha..for words like 'neh'..'nang'...haha...

Honestly speaking...i have an ENGLISH name...its jus tat i seldom use in sch..or never used b4?..haha...last time i used was when im in p1...haha...I jus dun feel like using it as its not printed in my IC..so it may seem tat i am giving myslef tat name..dun like it..haha..
However, i did use my ENGLISH name somewhere else...in tuition, in CCs...

remembered once i have to use an english for a GP teacher to call me during her lesson..
cos my name is jus too difficult to pronounce..den she asked if she can call me Nicholas..but its my big brother's name..!..lol..but its jus for 1 week haha...so pathetic ...

I also noticed 1 thing...
There is a 90% rate tat my teachers wont get my DINGNENG correctly...
tat means 9 out of 10 teachers will pronounce my name 'creatively'..haha...

disappointed for my results..

if my Mt grade were to be my GP grade..
i would be extremely extremely extremely delighted la...
n will treat all my frens to kuishin-bo to eat...
eat until i happy..haha..
but tats not the case...

N i wish my Gp can do better than my MT grade..
i wan to work hard now...

im getting afraid of wat might happen next year ....

My right arm is very painful noW!!...

got this injury during my 1st soccer training in almost 5 months in absence...
heard that there is alot of ppl playing keeper...abt 6..+me = 7...siao...
den i wonder y noordin still ask me come back...haizz...
but i jus come back lo...
den treat it like a soccer game...
n im also not tat serious in training ...

Then...
during a part of a training..where i will dive left right left right...
i accidentally dive with my elbow landing 1st instead of my body...
this caused my shoulder there to be twisted...
den i just twisted it back...n asked to rest...
den missed out the last part of the training...where they played a match..

Went to see a chinese doctor after tat...
received ACCUMPUNCTURE...
4 needles on my shoulder...
i can feel the needles poking directly into my injured vein..
feel so shiok...
n now den i realise accumpuncture is not tat painful..haha...

$35...n syed said i can claim from noordin...hmm...tats gd...
haizz..
im still feeling the excused from physical activity for 7 days...!!..whoho...
n tat means i canot train for my pull-ups...no swimming.. no running...no keeper
no fighting?...err...maybe no violin also...haiz....

But i think i will recover in 2 days' time..

so went to the NEW SIA SPORTS CLUB

to have a swim..

its 1st time i went there...since it has moved from changi village there..

Very nice...facilities are gd also..

road run is over!...

get a considerable placing..better than last year..haha...

133 out of duno how many boys...

dint warm up b4 race...as i was late...but still maintained at least 3 km b4 my legs are cramped...

too much latic acid are accumulated in my muscles le...n somemore i dint warm up...

but im still quite satisfied with my placing la....at least better than 'matub'....lol...

after race...den went to drink Milo...den only saw Syed finish his race n no more others from my class... den after i had collected abt 5 cups of milo...den the others came back....

Last but not least...the girls of 05S08 did the class proud!!....by winning the top group event...with 3 of the 4 girls finish inside the top 30....

1st is pratibha...den Meining...den Faizura ....den shahirah....

n Mrs tay (maths teacher)..also came in 1st in the teachers race...whahaha...

Ohya... Syed came in 8th in boys race....gd gd gd gd ....

after that went to watch I NOT STUPID....

funny .. nice.. and a touching story ....n i think it is most suitable for parents to watch to understand abt their children more....

New yEar is finally over....but no!....
it lasted for 15 days...today is jus the 4th day...

Im sooooo HAPPY that i have successfully introduced the game ' InBetween' to all my relatives this new year...bring much joy..excitement... laughter..

these are gd news for MY younger BROTHER!!!....

He has just returned from BAngkok this tue ..24/1/2005 11 pm by Air Asia..
He flew to Bangkok last thurs for an ARCHERY COmpetition...!!!....
My parents n i went to the airport to fetch him....
upon seeing him inside.....my mother is so happy...haha...
n the 1st thing i ask him when he came out...
DID u win anything?...
He said got win 1 medal...
tats a team Bronze...
i like so HAPPY for HIM la..
This is an INternational COMPETITION leh!!!!!!!
Comprising of mainly Spore n Thailand national archers..
but he not happy with bronze....
den he explain everything to me abt the competition...
den i noe y hes so sad...
his team comprises of 3 archers...
he shoots 530+/600...another friend 540+/600...
But his another teammate shoots jus 450+/600...
he says if he n his fren of 540+ pts together is enough to beat the rest...
but the it is a 3 man team...so with the 450+ added in...they are pulled down to 3rd...
he says the guy's form dipped too much...n he was one of the best archers b4 the com.

Anyway...I am so proud of him...
Win a Medal from overseas...

He also missed out on the InDiviDual Catergory...getting 4th...
He is being sabotaged by some KUKU cheap opponents whom i think r afraid of him..
they bend his arrow rest...resulting him losing his sight(the thing on the bow)....
arrows are not tat consistent on the bulls eye..

i think he 1st time touch a bow is when he is in P5...when im in sec 1...
the time when i brought home a sch bow to prepare for a shoot the next day...

The week is ending soon...In about 3 days??....

This week is quite a tiring week for me...
1st maths s-paper lesson..
had to skip choir to go for the lesson...hate to do tat...cos got new songs to learn...
somemore..at the s-paper lesson held by Mr Chew...only understand 50% i understand...48% is i dreaming...n 1.9999% is qns too difficult....what does that mean???...-help me infer-...lol...
lesson end at 645...den when i return to choirroom tat time...they finished the song 'Kua di feng'
already...sian...but i managed to learn it myself!!...hehe...

3rd week of sch le...new members of choir coming in soon...
jus yest..there are ppl coming in for audition by Mr Nelson, our conductor..
most of them got in..except 1...who is tone death...keep singing the same notes wrongly...haizz...
but still got many others who got in..some more got 1 chio one...from Duman..hehe...ks shld noe.lol...

Our cip- service learning is on this sat....
Can predict that it will be a mess...an embarrassment?...n maybe a boring trip to the children's place??...

It willl be a fun experience...

Wasteful 1st week of sch...

The first week of school just ended in a twinkling of an eye. I just think that it is such a waste of time for us, J2, to go to sch this week. There are no lessons going on, as there are only lectures and all of the J1 are involved in their own Orientation. This reminds me of the joy i had with my friends last year!!...yeah..

On the 1st day of sch, nothing happened. we had civics at the 1st period but had nothing later on.
In the morning, i just cant wait to see all my classmates, cos i have almost like lost contact with them, since im always with my choir friends. Then, when i reach there, only saw about 1/4 of the class, as others are OGLs and Idaly is down with Chicken Pox..But its still fun meeting up with the rest of the people. At 9.00, we, me aravin rizal had nothing to do and wanted to go home, but a stupid SC, 'MaTuB', stood at the gate like an idiot, and just keep saying that we only can leave at 1pm.. Justin n his class is also there, n we were all so irritated. z. Then we had nothing to do, so we go to choir room to slack n walk around in sch. Den go Bedok Swimming Complex with ks n tk to swim lo...

2nd day, 1 lect to attend. Quite a stupid thing to do..go to sch to attend a lecture at 10.10, end at 11.30..n only be allowed to leave at 1pm, and also have nothing to do in the morning. I was also informed tat day we got a Topical test for Maths..but me rizal robert aravin dun feel like going for it..n me n aravin keep sneezing..lol..den we decided to go home lo..n skipped the test. n i received msgs choir have auditons on thurs n fri.

3 rd day, 1 lect again...ended at 8.20.!!!...but only can leave at 1 pm...lucky i am involved in the choir auditions ..from 8.20- 12.10...or i would be wasting my time. n Auditioning ppl..asking them to sing in appegios...n getting them to sing the correct pitch..Alot of OGs came for auditions, or rather, all the OGs are required to go for audition...But i dun see any OG with my friends as OGLs...got alot of ppl from my class are OGLs..almost 10!..got Meining, Pratiba, Shahirah, Faizura, Mohsin, Abbas, Rowena,...den see none of them with their OGL
Den after tat, slacked the whole day with chris, chin, ks, richard in the choir room...den go the canteen to see ppl playing wet games in the field...lol...

4th day, same things..audtion n lectures...den slacked after tat...n i had bad headache sia...den go home lo...den at nite come out again to play lan...den while eating...saw tpjc J1s walking around in OGs...think they have jus finished their Orientatioin Nite lo...

Haizz...1 week jus gone like tat...n no teachers have asked for holiday homework...n i hope they dont..lol...if they wan to collect...den colect only maths lo...haha.....

This year 1st day...

I now jus remembered wat i have done on New Year's Eve...
but its funny to blog it now since a new yaer has started...but a lot of events happening during this unforgettable last week of the YEAR...

on the last week of the MOnday...we soccer guys...arranged to go n watch King Kong...it is a super nice show...n it is one of the nicest show i have seen...though it is very long...i am still able to keep my eyes open for the last 2 1/2 hr...cos the 1st 1/2 hr dun seem any link to the movie..haha...
After the show..we guys den slacked slacked...duno where to go...cos everyone dun wan to go home so early...den someone suggested DOTA...den we got ppl there...n only 2 person is pro at it...so the others disagreed lo...But after a while...we decided to try the game lo..cos it seems so popular noW!!...den we play from 10+ to 12 +....got me,wq,ql,jas,kev,tk..den tk n kev is the 2 pro...n since they decided to teach us...den we play lo...play until wq n ql miss the Liverpool match against Newcastle..which they r so eager to watch at S11...but we were too addicted to it..n continue playing ..until kev n tk miss the last train...hahaha...

After this day...
We guys keep arranging Dota Meetings at kembangan..cos the rate is $1/hr...n everytime we go, we will spend at least 4 hrs there...n we jus kept thinking tat it is not enough...lol..this shows how addictive the game is...n we jus kept spending money n thinking it is cheap...it is cheap...lol...we continued going to kemb for Dota like for 5 days consecutively??...n calling more ppl to join us...with stewart n merlin...

ON New Year's EVE...
We soccer guys arranged to go out to esplande to watch Fireworks as it is quite nice n it is a day to celebrate...Den we meet at 4 pm at tamp...but b4 tat i am playing DOta already with stewart, nicholas,n some of my bro frens at pav...for 2 hr...den when i go down to meet kev, ql n wq...they say jas n scott will be free only at 6...so...we decided to go to pavilion to play DOTA!!!...haha...play 1 match b4 we meet them at city hall..!!...stewart follow us to esplande also...

Den when we met up with jas n scott at city hall...we keep making fun of scott...haha...i keep laming abt him la...duno y jus couldnt stop..haha..grass la...all tat shit...lol..
OKOK...after we reached city hall...we were deciding where to eat...cos i have skipped my lunch for Dota....I suggested Kuishin-Bo..but it is too ex for some of them...haha...$39+ buffet..so we jus walked around to esplande n think of places to eat...
Then, when we walk into marina square, Kev suggested CARL's JUnior...saying the Burger is SUper BIG...n got freeflow of drinks...haha...so we all went there...although the meal is abt 10+...it is quite worth it lo...i think this should be the REAL BURGER 'KING'!!...

After eating..duno where to go...den we walk around the mall...den saw 1 lan shop...$2.30/hr...n immediately..we think of playing DOTA!!...we suggested playing DOTA until countdown...!!...haha...the time den is 9.00pm...Den we go in play Dota until abt 11.20 pm...den we rush down to esplande for countdown...
So u see...This DOTA game is so addictive...haha...BUT it is sUper FUn la...but i need to control liao...haha...

DEn we rush down to esplande..n also see many ppl rushing there...n we follow them...n when we reached there...it is very crowded...n everyone is just trying to find a place where they can see the fireworks...
When it reached 12.00am...Fireworks jus exploded into the skies...n i think it lasts abt 10 mins?....Its very beautiful...but i dint bring my cam there...n the pics i take with my phone sucks...n very blur...lucky my big bro went too n take some video of it...

After it ended...everyone tried to walk out of the place...n it is so crowded that we took alomst 1/2 hr to jus walk out from the crowd..n we lost kevin on the way...n we jus keep shouting for him..lol..n we tried to call him but jus cant get thru...think the phone line is blocked as many ppl r calling each other to send greetings...DEn like after another 1/2 hr...he walked towards us as he was waiting at the other end...lol...

After that...we duno wat to do n we still dun wan to go home yet...den got ppl suggested DOtA AGAIN!!!>...many ppl also agreed...but marina sqare close already...haizz....den we say go pav play...den it is too late...n no more transport to go home...haha....den we jus abandoned this idea.....den we jus keep walking n find a way to city hall mrt as many entrances are blocked...n we finaly found it after almost walking the whole of city hall...Tats wat we do during NY eve...haizz...

After starting Dota...we jus kept thinking of it...haha..so we arranged to play it again jus the day b4 sch opens....n we play from 9 am to 1 pm...have lunch...den start again from 3 pm to 6 pm...spending $9 in total...den we played bball at kemb CC...den we all went home...
Haizzzz....i really played alot during the last week of the holidays...n put everything abt homewrok aside....as i realy dun have much time to play during holidays cos of choir involvement....got competitions n carolings all tat...

Now i HAve enjoyed myself n this also marks an END to my playing...n i hope i can stop playing n start work liao..haha..cos its A lvl!!>....

I cant wait for the New School term to start...so tat hopefully i will not be so addicted to Dota..haha...cos jus started recently...abt 1 week b4 sch starts..quite stupid rite...New School term start will have new faces in the school...n hopefully pretty ones in Choir...haha..

Also cant wait for all the festive periods to arrive as we can have more holidays..!!..Esp chinese new year..where 'we' can play InBetween n Mj again!!...haha...

This year is also the world cup year!!!...IN Germany!!...though i think that when some of the matches are being played..we are at CZECH liao..haha...but its OK....cos prelimary matches are not interesting...unless matched like..Brazil vs Australia...cos alot of stars are playing...
Talking abt this...i still remember writing all the interesting pts abt WC 2002 n cant wait for another WC in 2006 in my 'journal' in sec 2...den when i hand in to my chinese teacher...he commented tat I should concentrate on my A lvls n not focus on WC too much...lol...

Talking abt Choir...we will be HEADING to CZECH this year!!!...A place where Milan Baros, Peter Cech, Pavel Nedved, Tomas Rosicky,Jon Koller, n Mozart?....are born...haha...We are going in June...n tats when the WC will be ongoing...But who cares abt the WC tat time?...the FINALS is in JULy!!!...Choir Trip more Important!!....

THis year is also the 20th anniversary of TPJC...den there will be a Art Festival i think?...den it will be very busy for us...haizz...somemore this is my A lvl year...BUt i will be looking forward to it though...cos duno actually wat will happen..

Xmas day!

Finally!...CAroling over...
so is CHRSITmas day....

for the past 2 days...choir has been caroling at Hotel Rendevous...its along Brass Basah Road..
Caroling there is fun...but is kind of uncomfortable...
we were caroling on some grand staircase...but thats not the problem...the problem is....
the place is damm HOT!... In front of the staircase is the lobby....n the lobby is quite small...
BUt the place is so hot..n can see everyone sweating while singing..
Other than tat...other things are OK...n we were given an aircon room to put our things...
the room is so cold n tats gd...n we were also provided with water...

After caroling on Eve..we had nothing to do....we den go Plaza Singapura...walk around...den decided to go Daryl hse for some MJ sessions...haha..suggesting overnight sessions..haha...but later thinking of another caroling on Xmas day...den we abandoned tat idea..haha..but still played until 2.30 am..
This is quite a funny celebration we had...thinking of last year while i was working in a grand hotel in the pastry department...haha...i am eating turkey n drinking wine in the kitchen...haha...n counting down with the ppl working there...

Every year...when Xmas is over...holidays will be ending...n sch will be reopening...haizz...
BUt...a new year is starting...n few more weeks will be CHINESE NEW YEAR liao!!...

THis CHinese new year will have 2 new games to play liao..haha..1 game is the one i learnt in KL...another one is the one i have practiced so much in this holidays n throughout the year...

Wow>.....Finally finish our caroling at BUgis and Parkway Parade...wahaha...
But there is still another 2 more carolings at HOtel Rendevous!...on 24,25/12/2005!..

Talking abt the 2 caroling sessions at Parkway and 3 sessions at BUgis...it is somehow interesting and enjoyable...but it is quite tired...n since we dint manage to memorise all the scores...cos got abt 17 songs??....haha...so we hold a black file while singing.

At Parkway...we went caroling in the afternoon...at abt 1pm...den tat time dun have much ppl shopping around..hence the crowd doesnt look big...but we still have to perform..cos we were paid already..haha..1/2hr for $500 i think?...haha..
At 2 pm...we move into the parkway mall to carol again...now...we split into 2 grps...den we sing again for 1/2 hr..the funny thing is tat...there r more ppl coming to watch us...probably theres aircon inside..den ppl are willing to stay n listen...
After everything..we got abt 2 hr break to make our way to bugis..for another session of caroling..

At bugis..everything is the same for 3 days..sang almost the same songs n also have the same EMCEE...lol..but the crowd at bugis is more bigger than at parkway...probably we are caroling in the evening...n there is also a big shelter for ppl to move in n listen to us singing...

On the last day of this 3 days of caroling..i had my 1st chance of conducting the choir..partly because sam,muihia,and justin got their own caroling..den they could not make it on the last day..it starts at parkway den ends at bugis...
After this, i jus realised it is not tat easy to conduct...n not just abt moving hands n body...still need to lead the choir..correct tempo all tat...start n end together..n also have to aware of the pitching of each sections...this not much to worry..as we have learnt all the songs le..haha..

After conducting the 2 sessions..i realised i didnt conduct 2 songs well like the others...
'DingDOng MErrily on HIgh', and ' Deck the halls'...
'DingDong'...i conducted a little bit too fast at bugis..cos got ppl kp say it is too slow..somemore i couldnt hold any scores tat time...

'Deck the halls'...not everyone is comfortable with the song...but no choice cos we have no songs left except this n 'We wish u a merry Xmas'...so we chose this lo...haha...problem is tat day we dun have enough boys...den still got the TB part...haizz...but nvm lo..jus sing as it is the last song...

I found other songs ok...cos we end n start together( at bugis only)...cos i have warmed up at parkway liao...n mistakes committed are all at parkway..haha...cos it is the 1st time ...so hope ppl can forgive..haha..Tats all la...tired liao...haha..

So happy that it had been cancelled last time due to some stupid home...den now came a new one....i jus wonder y my class canot wait until the day the sch reopens den start discussing all the things..cos now is like sending msgs everywhere...n not sure if everyone received it or can make it for the day...STUPID RITE!!...den also keep organising unnecessary meetings among the few ppl...den confirming all the ideas among themselves...den the rest will have to follow..

Here are the results forour KL competition-A Voyage Of Songs 2005

We got 1 gold B, 2 gold C
Gold B- 85.0 to 89.9
Gold C-80.0 to 84.9

True n lucky enough, we got GOLD B FOR EQUAL VOICES..so lucky tat we got 85 pts...and HOORAY TO our MALE VOICES!!!...n our VVVVIP in this chorus...is our conductor...WEI WEI!!>...whoho...u have done a great job!...we have beaten the MIA LADIES chorus of MALAYSIA(75 pts)...
we have beaten them partly because they had sung the set piece 'wrongly'...meaning a different interpretation of the song...n tat kills them...haha....
N for this, WE GOT INTO THE GRAND FINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

WE also did quite well in other areas...we got 2 gold C in FOLKLORE n OPEN MIX catergory...
We did WAK WAK Gung n USULI boat song in folklore..with soloist...WEIWEI!!....haha...
n yumeimita, gloria n AND SO IT GOES...for our open-mix voices...
i jus think tat our SO IT GOES is one of the best songs we have ever sung...so touching n could almost cry...its because it is a song about someone losing his/her love..haha...n so by putting our feelings into the song...the song becomes so nice n also quite sad la..hahaha...NOT FORGETTing our VVVVVVIIIIP - Mr Low Xu Hao...haha...

This KL trip is a 5 D 4 N tour....HOWEVER...2 days have been used for travelling...from s'pore to KL...by a coach...small n uncomfortable...wonder if we could have 'CAO YUAN'...the seats is like...super big lo...like a massaging chair...wa...
I love this trip la..n have also enjoyed myself....wow....n also talk to more choir ppl after this trip..haha...cos last time in choir not so close to these ppl...haha...but NOW is different...
I just think tat any choir trip is better than any other trip...LIKE ODAC adventure trip...to some malaysia forest?..haha..n shandong trip to have an exchange programme...cos all these trips...u are going with ppl u r not very close with...n somemore u dun have the time to enjoy urself...to play all tat...cos u need to accomplish the objectives of the tour...

BUt for choir tours...it is different!!...though we are going overseas to compete ...we have already prepared ourselves before we went there..so..we have more time to play n shop all tat...instead of hiding in rooms n practising all day...haha..

I also learnt a new game called InBetween...a very 'fierce' game...a game which can make u lose like shit n make u win like hell?..haha...this game teach u dun be greedy..haha...n i also learn the BRIDGE game properly liao...thx to richard n zhengwei..haha...cos i last time learn a few time but still cant get a clear pic of the game...haha..

IN this TOUR...i have also achieved my status of 'the GRANDMASTER' in 'LAMING'..haha...dun believe can ask ppl like chee kian..cos i have multi-killed him...cos i n some other master..like andrew /zhengwei can make him laugh until he canot finish his lunch....haha....n tats on the 1st day of the trip...haha..n really loved the choir ppl alot...after every competiton...when we have nothing to do liao...we will go to HOngyi or they come to my/andrew/chin's room to play InBetween...haha...'HoTkey' n 'Satu Ringgit' are the words u always hear..haha...

I also saw HAISING CATHOLIC SCHOOL choir participating in this KL comp also...haha...saw them alot of times...living in the same hotel also...but i duno anyone of them...haha...but at least i saw mrs WAN...last time my archery teacher...haha...BuT..the funny thing is tat...y suddenly she jumped from Archery to Choir?....haha...den my brother jus say she accompany them to KL only...not in-charge...haha....
they dint do so well as us...they got a no. of silvers i think...den i tell my fren ...lucky i dint join hschoir...haha..But i also wasted my years in Archery...zzzzzzzz.....but looking at hsc choir now...they are more guys le...at 10...haha..last time only 2...hahahahahaha...Other secondary schools doing well are TKSS n COmmonwealth...they are probably the best sec. schs...

the FOOD there is quite nice la...but the problem is tat...they keep providing almost the same foods everyday ...everytime...cos EGG is always provided in breakfast/lunch/dinner....it is jus in different forms...got scramble EGG, Fried EGG, EGG with soup....ALL nice la...but is SICK OF IT!!....
n tats y me/andrew/chin all decided to skip breakfast for the last 2 days ...so tat we can sleep longer...since the food sucks...den we almost everynite call for room service...haha...CLUB SANDWICH ..FISH N CHIPS all tata...abt 20 ringgit...haha...n there are alot of things to complain abt the 'HOTEH'!!..

On the 1st day we go...we reached there at abt 2.30pm...but we only managed to check in at abt 4+...wait until so long lo...den they say this is becos the rooms are not tidied yet...but mr tan help us by getting the keys n jus put our things in the rooms 1st...den we go in rite...the bedsheets all on the floor lo...haizz...n when they tidy the room rite...i duno whetehr they got change the bedsheets used by the previous ppl...or jus arranged properly n tidy it up...if they dint change...i will be damm dirty lo...cos we duno wat the ppl previouly using this room have been doing...duno if they erhem on tat bed anot...hahaha....

den after tat rite...they dint provide us towels...only give us 1...which needs to be shared by 3 ppl...me/drew/chin....tats so terrible...somemore we stinks from spore to KL lo...n everyone wans to bathe ...so how to share 1 towel....den we call n call for towels...den wait until 2 days den come...cos they say out of stock..WA PIANG....den andrew no choice but to use a super small towel...slightly bigger than a handkerchief only...den i use the towel ppl used in gym one...slightly bigger than andrew one....haha....
I really must 'kowtow' to andrew liao la...can use such a small towel to wipe himself lo..haha..
Undoubtedly the Grandmaster of Ideas...haha..n i n him had to use these towels for 2 days lo...
WAT lousy service is tat from a 5-star 'HOTEH'.....1st time i live in a hotel without towels....

I had terrible sore throat n dried lips in KL lo...pain like....zzz...difficulty in eating ...but tats not the worse..cos the food sux anyway...haha...worse is tat i canot sing properly...my forceto is spoiled..haha..somemore i had to use forceto to sing the solo part in AND SO IT GOES....wa...lucky i managed to get myself cured by sucking lozenges...haha...
but still go back to the same..after laughing too much while playing InBetween...n too much of laming...haha...
BUt on the day of the GRAND FINALS...my voice still dint recover...den i no choice but to suck n swallow a whole box of lozenges...finished them jus b4 we went on stage...haha...n den...i managed to sing my high notes..or i will 'zhao siea'...lol...

I totally enjoyed myself from this trip...n really felt that i am more closer to choir ppl than to my class ppl...whom 1/2 of them are ppl who like to 'pangseh'...n i almost have no confidence in the class in doing things liao...
However...my choir friends are totally different...encouraging n caring n ppl who keep their words..n somemore i feel comfortable with them...n after this KL trip...there are more programmes coming up...

really long time dint blog liao..
cos somehow lazy to type also..haha...den somemore also very busy nowadays...
having choir pracritces almost everyday....song bo!!..from morning to afternoon one...n tat is y nothing much happen these few days lo..

Today is Tue liao..3 more days i will be in KL competing lo!...from 9 dec to 13 dec
TPjc choir will be competiting in Open MIX, Folklore and the Equal voices...which r for the male chorus only...hehe...
A 5D4N trip..where 2 days r used for competing..2 days used for travelling..1 day used to relax..n with only 5 hrs of shopping only...haizz....but its OK la...since next year going further country liao..haha..surely got more days to play n shop...

Den yesterday received Ms norzian's msg...she said that our service learning project is cancelled!!....whahhahaha...so happy lo!!!!.....cos of that stupid idiot duno home...keep changing the date...keep saying their children r not free..all that f******** reasons...den making us delaying the date...from 30 nov...to 5 dec..to 6 dec...to 8 dec..den now we ask them f*** off liao...wat stupid service learning is this...this stupid home with stupid children without parents...wan to provide happiness to u all also so sialan...such an idiotic home...
SO..its a gd thing it is cancelled...

After the KL trip..a few more days will be carolling lo...in parkway n bugis i think..?...haha...
but the real worry is tat in abt 20 more days ...sch will start again...sian...haven start studying for any subjects...den somemore i still wan to take S paper...sian sian...still got holiday homework...lol...must pia lo....

Yesterday was such a fun day...

Went to ms norzian hse for hari raya celebration..haha..its the 1st time i celebrate hari raya.
At first, the other ppl agreed to meet at 1130 at tamp interchange den go her hse..but i got music lesson until 12....still at eunos..so i tel them i go alone..
Then, i reached her place at 1.00..its quite late le..since they reached abt 1210...
Many ppl were there...Shahrez was There!!..cos i tell him to come..haha...long time dint see him liao..haha..my 1st 3 months fren..heard he had done very well in poly..haha...GPA 3.8..siao siao sia...and he is still as crapy as me..haha...

Idaly..abbas..mohsin..aravin..khai..even jeffrey is there..haha...den we talk n talk ..take pics...den is like..after i reached only for 30 mins...they wan to go already...haizz...nvm lo..since im late..haha...den the gals say they r going to faizura's hse...so we boys also go lo..haha...

Reached her hse..we watched DOOM...but the boys aimed for ice-water first as the weather was so hot..n there is also alot of things to eat..but we dint eat much...den shah leave after tat as he got something on..den our next destination...Fatin hse..

Her hse is at eastwood ...somewhere near Nelson's house...n we all dint noe tat Fatin live in such a luxourious condo...wa...a swimming pool jus next to her apartment..as she lived on the 1st floor...also ate there...n we boys also aimed for ice-water...as we need to walk a long way b4 reaching her hse...den next destination..Shahirah hse..

Her hse is at Siglap..n her hse is also quite nice...a semi-detached...duno all my classmates so rich one...lol...go there also eat again..den watch tv...talk talk talk..until we really very full...but i later still have to go my ah ma hse eat dinner..wa..haha...so i control myself lo..haha...abt 730 den leave her hse...

1st time i went to so many places to celebrate Hari Raya..haha...as i got so many muslim fren..haha..not bad thou as i also take 3 'green' packets..haha..n the funny thing is tat i duno wat to say when i enter ppl's hse..den i only say HI...haha...cos other malays noe how to greet in malay ...den me n aravin...jus say HI..n shake hand only...like damm paiseh la...haha...

N think this is also the 1st time the boys n gals of my class can mix well...like talk n have fun together..haizz...1st time in a year?...lol...Too bad muslims canot gamble...if not..comfirm had more fun...like chinese new year...hahaha...

abt 3 or 4 more weeks b4 the choir heads to KL lo...den now the choir practice like a lot liao...but its OK la..since i at home also nothing to do...haizz...no mood to do homework also...

PW has finally ended for ME!!!!...this has been fun for almost like 8 months??...
Finally can say good-bye liao..cos i also finished my I n R...in fact...my whole Pw grp can say GOOD BYE liao!!!..haha...maybe i will still miss the times my PW work so hard together for this PW...i will definitely NOT do it again!!...LOL

For my oral presentation rite..i think i have improved quite alot since the Dry Run...

My grp Op starts at 2.30...n we r the 2nd grp to present...
im the 3rd speaker n its after jeffrey...
Before i start my presentation rite...i keep breathing in breathing out..den try to sing songs to warm my voice..n also to make me cool down..haha..
Then..when its time to present..this time there is no pause between speakers...so when jeffrey ended his speech..i stand up..look at the accessors..den i start when they look at me..

den when i end my speech...i noe i did quite well..as compared to last time....
i did look at my scripts so much..as i purposely memorise my scripts..n only bring 2 cards with me...which only write the long sentences i always canot remember..so..i can only present from wat i had memorise...
Hence..this has somehow helped me as i cannot look at my scripts during presentation..n also give me the chance to look at the audience..n accessors...n this way i will look as if i noe my things very well..haha...
I also dint move my feets so much..as said from my frens..haha..
N in my speech rite...i think i only stutter a bit..this when i fliping my cards..haha..but i think its OK....n i am able to continue my speech..without finding for points..haha...so i think its OKOK...hope so ba..haha..

Answer qns part rite...my part is like quite easy...at 1st i duno how to answer...so i keep clarifying with the accessors...den finally can answer..haha..but dun think my ans is sufficient enuff...but hope they accept it lo..haha..

Here r some tips for those who r presenting in the next few days..
-memorise scripts well...at least 1/2..haha..
-if confident enuff..dun bring notes that u have memorised..bring those notes tat r difficult to memorise..in this way..can make more eye contact....
-take deep breathe before start...n breathe in more when changing slides..haha..make u more ready before u speak..
-n when presenting..jus think tat u r talking or explaining to a fren..haha..tat makes u more natural when speaking...

these r some of the points la...maybe useful or useless?...haha...anway..i jus think tat enuff preparation will bring u confidence!...n jus after this 5mins...u are FREE

Next year will be a very free year!!...no more chinese.hopefully i get a B4...n no more PW!!!...

friday rite..i went back to sch to rehearse Op...i did 3 times...
1st time i tried to present without looking at anything...but i got stuck 1/2 way as i forgot my pts...den is like..so stupid lo..sian...
2nd time..i tried to look at the cards n present...but i still found problem completing my sentences...as i try not to read word by word in the cards...sian again..
3rd time...i decided to read slower...n look at the cards more...den this will somehow make me more confident 1st..before going on to memorise the scripts..n even present everything in my own word...
so overall...can say that im only abt 50% prepared...haiz...need to work harder le..haha..

den today sat..go to lavender..the ICA building to renew n replace passport photo..went there at abt 10...it is very crowded..but i finished it quite fast...like in 1 hr..i have finished photo-taking n updated my passport..den when i come out rite...saw Chin Soon n Andrew..haha...funny man..cos yest chin call me whether wan to go with him to renew passport...den i say i going with mother..den..den ..so lucky met them there...but they jus reached there n im leaving..haha..

AND...i saw a very rare incident today in city hall MRt station..im standing there at the control station..den every time when the train stop rite..many ppl will alight n make their way to the 'gate' la..the place where u scan ur EZ link card before u can leave...DEN...
Suddenly..a man ..wearing a cap, carrying a bag..jus jumped over the 'gate'..which opens when u scan ur EZ link..BUT HE JUMPED OVER IT!!..cant imagine he did it sia..somemore city hall..where so many ppl is there...n the funny thing is...im standing infront of the 'gate' n stared at the man jumping over the 'gate'...n i dun feel anything awkward...zz..den i only thought it when a FOREIGNER shouts 'hey!...wat u doing??!!'...den the man who jumped scold..'f*** u..u shut up..!!''...haha..den the foreigner ran to the control station to call a staff out..but the staff like in a relax relax mood..like nothing happened...den in the end ...the man is out of sight...n i like...dun even bother to do wat..n somemore im standing infront of the man..sian..

From this incident .. i can see that singaporeans r bo chap one..n im one of those..haha..as ppl jus stand there n view the incident..as this does not concern them...zz...n im of these ppl as well...haiz..or im i day-dreaming tat moment?..haha..

Den after im going home rite from city hall..den i saw some action taken..maybe probably after that incident...some man are deployed to stand at the end of the exit...to prevent ppl from escaping without paying...n i also wonder how the man got in in the 1st place?..haha...he also jumped in?...lol...

Today quite free..cos 9 den reach sch...at 1st wan to go for bio n chem lect..den idaly come..den consider a while ...den decided not to go..lol..den wait until 11+ go inside the IMR room in the lib to watch movie- Hotel Rwanda...quite nice la...but i fall asleep 1/2 way...den suddenly wake up when i heard ppl shooting each other in the show...haha...watch until abt 1.40...den go home le..

monday got OP...but i think i dint do well..i am stuck b4 i start my speech...den i take a deep breathe..den continue...but still not so gd...cos i keep moving..like right leg shuffle...also i keep looking back at the cards im holding..tat shows tat im not confident enough..n somemore i so nervous tat i mixed up my cards when im flipping thru them...but lucky i memorised some le..haha...if not i reamained rooted to the ground liao...
I also made some unnecessary pauses when i speak lo...haha..i think i didnt memorise the words too well lo...is like i speak 1/2 way...i forget how to continue the sentence liao..haha...den i look back at the cards again..haizz...
answer qns part..i replied with a short statement only..cos teacher ask something abt difficulties in the project..so at tat time i couldnt think of any but only 1..so i only give tat one..den i nothing to say liao...sian sia..im thinking of whether can say there r no difficulties faced...haha..

Overall ..dint do well...so i mus memorise all the words...so can speak better...n also should look more confident..mus work harder lo...

Today is the day that the release of the results of the promotional exercise, which means who promote who retain..
In the morning, we went to class to hear wat ms norzian had to say abt the promotional exercise..she said tat 18 out of 23 of my class are successfully promoted..den 5 ppl r not tat successful though...

within the 5..the elephant or Zahida is inside...hahahahhah...we boys r like so happy lo!!..haha..cant wait for tat..haha...maybe she is the most hated ppl in the class..haha..love to clean teachers' shoe with her tongue,..haha..but later...my i heard that she conditionally promoted .....zzz...like...Sian lo!!...haizz..think must be l***ing the teachers again during the promotional exercise...hahahhaa...

Den others rite...duno wat to say la...dun study type...esp the one who keeps on showing off..keeping thinking tat she is pretty...which is not the case..very vain..looking at the mirror during class time..keeping acting cute...ACBC type...n keep showing off her language is very pro...n she takes triple sci in sch...n the only one who get 3 distinctions for triple sci o lvl la..Haiz...but this is A lvl liao la!!!...ur triple sci ur problem la...den keep showing off that she has a very gd tuiton teacher...from wat NUS one..got wat distincition for maths S paper...den still got wat professor for other subject one la...den tuition fees very expensive...zzz...Show off for wat??...good teacher doesnt mean produce good students..lol!!...haha..in the end u still fail all rite??...haha..pls la...dun throw ur teacher face la...

After that is OPEN hse lo..haha...TPJC OPEN HSE...which starts at 9 n end at 4.
From the start till the end..i dint see any place in the sch crowded with sec sch students..ironically...many places are packed with student councillors and other student helpers...zzzzzz...stupid rite...duno y this is the case...den i call my fren in MJC..cos they having open hse also..they said it is very crowded there...n they r very busy..zzzzzz...
But here...we r so free..!!...den whole day skipped lessons lo..den went down to sing for the sec 4 only when we spot them...hhahaha...lame...other than that..we boys stay in the room to do 'maths'...n i did my 'maths' until i lose 7 'pts'...haha...

PW dry run is just next monday lo..so fast...im getting my script memorised..so i can look at the teacher instead of the screen or paper when i talk..haha...as i wan to correct my mistake i made in the GP presentation..lol...

1 more week to the end of the 4th Semester..which means the school year is ending soon!!

Last entry i said that i got 69 got the promo paper...but the teacher moderate by adding 4 marks to everyone...so taigo taigo...get A...can seems like i got the A thru the help of the moderation la..so i think i mus work harder next time for it..mus get A before moderation..haha..

Hence overall..Happy with my results..haha..

-It is quite lucky but it is also dissapointing for me la...cos i jus managed to pass...jusssssss managed to pass..the score 101/150..n the passing mark is 100...soo lucky rite...zzz
-Dissapointing cos i like put in alot of effort in practicising...n i started this like from January??..haha..to learn the 3 pieces and the scales...or maybe i dint perform too well on tat day...haizz...BUT...this doesnt affect my promo result rite??..lol..
-3 pieces score..23/30,22/30,21/30,..comments are like...i dint coordinte well with the pianist...n some gd comments like..playing with confidence...gd opening...n tats all i can find i think...cos the examiner's handwriting is worse than mine...is like words overlapping each other...so cant read properly...
-3 other sections..scales/sight reading/aural...14/21,12/18,9/18...scales rite..it wrote there badly attempted..but still give me pass...err..contradicting??...lol..sight reading..think is i play some the wrong notes...tiemuer also figure out something from the slip...is the intonation..Aural i nothing to say liao...try very hard to do well..still like tat..haha..think i gain mark becos of the singing??..haha..i noe i dint do well in the modulation n 'period' qns...

SO...i can say that it is quite a good ending for me this year??..as i have mentioned in my last few entries...Although dint do so well for the grade 8 exam...but I am still happy i made it...haha..

I have gotten back all my results!!...but i try not to comment so much on them la...cos its not a gd practice to haolian ur scores..haha...

Mathematics: A--89/100..
Quite happy that i managed such a high mark for maths..n it is even shown on the screens of the auditorium n other LTs, which are giving out the maths paper. Just couldnt believe my name appear on it..LOL..but this doesnt comes easily..its like almost practicing for 1 month..n it is also quite wasted that i lost a few marks in stupid mistakes..but think its OK..as my name already in the top 10 list...im like no.5 or wat..with some ppl getting 89 also...hehe...n so happy that many ppl come n congradulate me..( meaning wacked)...haha..HOwever..I canot be complacent..cos 1stly..this promos doesnt have integration..which is quite difficult ..n some other topics last year batch have completed..so that means we have to struggle more next year...n somemore this is only within the ppl taking single maths..F maths students are crazier..lol...but my aim is to get A for A lvl la..haha..promos nothing much...lol...

Chemistry: B---69/100
NOT satisfied with my results..although its quite high among my frens..haha..Firstly..it is 1 more mark to an A..and this shortage of 1 mark is due to many reasons..!!...
1- too careless in MCQ...given away 11 marks..
2-the high level of strictness of the teachers in marking this paper...lost 2 marks for spelling
'substitution' as 'substiTUItion'...some more...in the drawing of mechanism diagram..my arrow is too short n dint point DIRECTly at the Br atom..zz..loses 1 mark..
3-misread an essay qn of organic chem..i read cycloHEXENE as cycloHEXANE..in the end..describe the wrong mechanism...loses 3 marks...
As a result..loses so much marks which cost my A...n lose aravin's chem of 78 marks...who get 28/30 for MCQ...dammmm..
This B is quite gd compared to my common test of E...but getting B is not a gd grade...as it is jus a FEW marks away from A!!!!...regret on the stupid mistakes i committed...zz

Biology: B---78.5/120 (65%)
Actually has not much confidence in this like the 2 subject above...although i have studied alot of biology..at the morning b4 i get the paper in the LT..ms chan came to me say i am 1 of the top students..wa..i shocked sia..REALLy...haha...thought i got very high or A for bio liao...but thinking again..ms chan's mindset of doing well is B n C...zz...this is wat she said after common test...haizz...no nvm la..so when the results are returned..other boys like Idaly..mohsin..justin..all 75, 76 one..haha..so i 78.5 is jus a mere stroke of luck...lol...
Actually quite happy that i do quite well for Bio...as mrs gay said b4 that it is not easy to get A for bio...but i have indeed tried my best...a low B is gd liao...but jus feel that it is stupid to get Bs..n not As..as the difference is jus a few marks!!!!...HOWever..i think i have did quite well compared to others in the class( not the boys as they are as gd as me)...lol...

GP n Chi : c6/c6
LOL...dint put in much effort in chi...cos i noe it is difficult to fail..haha..but not happy with c6 la..ha...BUT, it is heaven for me to pass GP!!...FINALLY!!...a mere 46/100 pass...lol...cos i never ever pass essays n compo together...somemore the passing rate in this sch for GP is abt 50% only..as they showed b4 taking the scripts...WOW...jus couldnt believe it..haha..

OVERALL...i am very happy with my results..esp my maths..cos i wan to get maths S paper n try out..canot den drop lo...haha...chem n bio has also improved...whaha...
People may say that i am only taking 3 A lvl sub..den i do well...but
Ppl are not forced to take 4 subs what when they do well in O lvls!!...I just think its stupid to take 4 sub..in which 1 sub u dun like..to haolian that u r one who did very well in O lvl..n in the end cannot score in the 4 subs..
HOwever...ppl who are able to do well by taking 4 subs are my IDOLS...or ppl whom i respect!!...haha...1 e.g. is chong hong n you zhen...haha...both my pri sch frens...they both get 4 Distinctions each in F maths, Physics,Chem,Maths...somemore i heard that many failed phy...N 1 more thing..you zhen top F maths by getting 95 marks..quite crazy yea??....lol...these 2 are my idols n are examples to follow!!..haha..not ppl who take 4 subs jus to haolian...

Hence, i hope that i can get 1 S paper for fun...but i noe it is not easy to get it..since there are many challenges from the F maths students...but i will worked for it!!...
I think that my class boys have performed the best for this promos!!...esp Aravin, Rizal, Idaly,who anyhow scored A for Malay...lol...and justin, syed, abbas n mohsin...I think we only have these guys in our class...lol...Syed tried very hard for promos..haha...n think he performed better than his common test...!!...Guys for 05So8 rocked the class..haha...
n thanks for our teachers la...for helping us perform well in promos!!...Hope everyone can promote to 05S08 as a class next year...except 1....hehe..!!...

crazy week

tmr go back to sch take results liao...
Its quite a crazy 5 days for me la...but no choice..its the effects in the aftermath of JC 1 PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS!!!...lol
I have...
watched 3 movies, the Myth, Dukes of Hazzard, and GOAL!!..
played pool for 3 straight days...
walk aimlessly everywhere...suntec,esplanade,bugis...errr..still got where...forget liao..
n enjoy life for these days...keep spending money...go everywhere to eat different kinds of food...haha...n suddenly jus feel like taking cab whereever i go...haha...

most funniest things happened..
on friday rite...go out with frens to suntec walk whole day...den at night when coming home rite...took a cab...the driver..duno y...maybe too active at night or wat...can talk from like raffles place there all the way to tampines..haha..the fact is tat he keep talking den we keep listening...haha..den when he drive pass Geylang rite..he bring us to see all the 'CHICKENS' and 'ducks?'..haha...drive slowly n point to us which ones are waiting for businesses...hahahaha....funny sia...den tell us wat Lorong got the most no. of Chickens..zz....
he speaks like he is a regular there sia..hahahaha...lol...the guy quite talkative la...haha...never seen such a driver before..haha...but he was still able to remember the place we wan to go despite talking to us like...1/2 hr??..haha...

Nothing to do at home rite...den i learn to play the piece..Spring concerto no.1...the different SPring from my exam one...haha...not bad sia...able to play at least the whole piece...but still got 1 part duno how...cos notes seems complicated...think this is the 1st piece i learn myself...haha...

tmr is the day that the exam papers will be given out...

maths- full of confidence..impossible not to get A..lol..

chem- 1 stupid mistake + many careless mistakes in MCQ...abt 11 qns ..crazy rite?..B happy liao..

bio- stupid mistakes again in MCQ...hope to get A...but B is good for me liao...

GP-..no need to say...a pass will do!!..haha

Chinese-no need to say..chances of getting A or B is O..cos 1st 3 sections i only get 6 marks...out of a possible 40...haha...
